David is available to see clients seeking support for many different reasons: feelings of depression, grief and loss, relationship or professional difficulties, issues around substance use.
David’s area of special interest is helping people to think through the ideas that shape and give meaning to their life. This includes people experiencing a crisis of faith, people who are seeking to reconstruct what faith might look like for them moving forward, clergy or people in ministry experiencing vocational ambivalence, those going through a time of spiritual ‘dryness’, people recovering from toxic faith communities.
David currently offers face-to-face counselling on Monday and Tuesday, and online sessions for the rest of the week. Click the Book Now button below to check availability.
If you are experiencing financial hardship please let us know as we try to see some clients at a reduced rate if needed. Unfortunately, counselling does not attract a Medicare rebate.
David offers a range of services for both individuals and organisations including group facilitation and goal-setting. David and his colleague Jess use the goal setting technique ‘PATH’ in which a 1-year plan for individuals or groups is generated with the aid of a ‘grapher’ who illustrates the plan as it emerges throughout the session.
