David works with a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming framework and utilises a variety of approaches to counselling. He has a particular focus on:

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Person-centred therapy
  • PATH person-centred planning

David has particular experience supporting people who experience:

  • Caring for family members with dementia, disability, mental health challenges, and neurodiversity
  • Grief and loss
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Addiction
  • Existential issues
  • Concerns related to religious and spiritual identity
  • Neuro-affirming support for people with ADHD and ASD

If you are experiencing financial hardship please let me know as I can see a limited number of clients at a reduced rate if needed. Unfortunately, counselling does not attract a Medicare rebate.
